Proposal for Lean Manufacturing Using Kaizen Products to Ensure Quality

This diploma thesis is based upon a study of processes in a subdivision of fischer systems, a company in the automotive industry. These processes are studied with reference to lean manufacturing and Kaizen products. The first part of this thesis is a general introduction to the company. It is followed by a description of the subdivision in question, and a discussion of various theoretical approaches. An analysis of the current state of manufacturing and processes is also made. Finally, a proposal is made towards solving imperfections uncovered in the analysis stage, and getting the company closer to lean manufacturing.

The bachelor thesis deals with the course of the procurement process in a selected company. The company is primarily focused on the implementation of gas pipelines and pipelines’ products in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company provided me with a range of information and documentation to help me analyze the procurement process. On the basis of an evaluation of the analysis, I have drafted a proposal that should lead to an improvement in the procurement process.

The first part is evaluation of theoretical approaches to the solution, which is based on the literature. The next part is an analysis of the current state of the organization, where the issue of the order management in the organization is described. Based on this analysis , customized proposal solutions are made, to create added value for each activity to meet customer requirements.

The last part will suggest measures aimed at reducing the size of the risks during contract.

In my bachelor thesis, I focuse on the analyzing of current status of contract award, including all sub-processes, which take part in order processing. I have made an improvement proposal, based on the results, which may lead to optimalization of every process and cost reduction. I also define requirements of realization and it’s benefits.

The thesis concentrates on the process of building project management methodology in AAA COLOR company. The first part of this thesis will explain an analyses the process and management of the already executed building project „Reconstruction of the storage hall of Borfers a.s.“. The second part will give suggestions of how to manage building project in AAA COLOR company, whereas the final part will explain the possibility of realisation of those suggestions and their positive contribution to the company.
